Savoury Platter

This is a light yet satisfying platter which is great for sharing with friends and family! One of things I remember from cooking class back when I was at school was that food presentation needed three things: height, texture and colour. Fresh fruits and vegetables offer all three which could explain why they make platters look so appealing. Not only do these platters deliver on presentation the range of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fibre mean they also deliver on health. Who ever said healthy eating is boring, clearly never experienced the joy of a delicious and fresh platter.

Our Savoury Jenny Platter features plenty of our favourite veggies including:

  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 carrots
  • ½ bunch radish
  • 1 red capsicum
  • 1 punnet cherry tomatoes
  • Handful of green beans
  • 4 sticks of celery
  • 1 packet Jenny Craig Sweet Chilli & Sour Cream Chips
  • 1 packet Jenny Craig Light & Tangy Veggie Crisps

Tip

Platters can be served on their own or with a dip. When choosing a dip look for one that is low in fat and consider how many grocery serves are in it. Or try making your own like we did with low fat yoghurt, garlic and lemon juice.
